Additional Trail Construction and Stewardship

For nearly 15 years, CW has carried out regular maintenance on the extensive trail system at Insight Meditation Society’s land in Barre. This past year, led by Andy Vecchio, CW has added two additional miles of new trail and a number of new footbridges at IMS. CW also makes routine trail upkeep visits to a well-used trail loop at the Lathrop Community in Northampton and at the trail system of Amherst College, the latter with frequent assistance from students in the Amherst College Outing Club.
