CW Participates in Protection of 661 Acres in New York State
Conservation Works recently prepared a full Baseline Documentation Report on a beautiful, 661-acre landmark property in Columbia County, New York. The property, which includes scenic ridgetops, dramatic ravines, and rare species habitat of regional importance, will be covered by a Forest Conservation Easement through the combined work of The Nature Conservancy, the Columbia Land Conservancy, the Northeast Wilderness Trust, the Housatonic Valley Association, and the New York State Department of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation.
