Carrie brings a background in design, outdoor education, and nonprofit support, along with many years of volunteer leadership in the outdoors. She holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and spent 15 years leading hiking and camping trips throughout New England with the Appalachian Mountain Club. She is a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), holds a GIS Certificate from UCLA, and teaches navigation and orienteering classes for kids.
Over the years, Carrie has worked as a designer, office manager, forest school teacher, and cartographer. She combines organizational, graphic, and administrative skills to support conservation work and help people better understand the places around them.
In her free time, she enjoys drawing, backpacking along the Appalachian Trail, and orienteering in the forests around Massachusetts.
