A well-rounded naturalist, Jill has experience with bird, amphibian, and mammal trapping and surveying techniques, natural resource inventory, plant habitat inventory, wetland hydrology analysis, plant identification, invasive species identification and removal techniques, land use history, and GIS.
She has nineteen years of experience in education, having started her career as a middle school teacher in Arizona, and then as an environmental and outdoor educator in both Arizona and the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts. Jill values human growth and connection and is experienced in group facilitation, program development and management, and approaches all projects with an eye towards inclusivity and equity.
Jill has her M.S. in Conservation Biology from Antioch University New England and has worked for non-profit organizations such as The Highlands Center for Natural History, The Student Conservation Association, and The Harris Center for the Environment. A resident of Conway, Jill and her family enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. In her spare time Jill likes to garden, crochet, refinish furniture and walk her dog.
