Under a contract with the Long Island Sound Watershed Collaborative, Pete and Lincoln Fish completed wildlife restoration plans for the Picone property in Baltic, CT (New London County), and additional properties in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Pete Picone is the head of Wildlife Division for the Connecticut Fish & Game Department. He and his family have spent years improving the property for woodcock and many other species. The second contract, due to start in June 2018, includes properties in Vermont, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.

Services Provided

Identifying, clearing and marking property boundaries.

Locating, documenting, and GPS-mapping of boundary lines, corners, and monuments from available surveys and other records.

Expert photographing of landscape features, habitat, wetland resources, scenery, wildlife, birdlife, and flora for electronic or print reproduction.

CW works with private landowners, state agencies, towns, and conservation land trusts to prepare wildlife restoration plans, forest management plans, and conservation management plans for a wide variety of situations. We welcome inquiries about how a land management plan can fit landowner needs.
